Beware of scam with your cell phone
Members have called indicating they have received calls on there cell phone saying that their debit card has been deactivated and if you want to activate the card enter your debit card number. THIS IS A SCAM!!!  THe Credit Union and most fianacial institutions will not call you and tell you your card has been deactivated.  If you receive a call like this or any call asking for your credit card or debit card number it is most likely a SCAM and we would reqkuest you call us and let us know this has happened to you.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

There have been recent attempt to scam people either by phone or e-mail.  These thieves will try to get you to give them your social security number, account numbers, access codes, date of birth, addressed, etc.

They even attempt to either setup phony website that look official or lie to you over the phone about their identity.

Remember- no federal agency will call you and ask for any of the above information, nor will your credit union.  Never give this type of information over the web or phone unless you have called the agency or credit union.
